About

I built one of these.

I'm Travis Kelly. I built an arcade in Sarnia and ran it for ten years, and I still co-own District Beta, an arcade and bar. Now I market Canadian entertainment venues, one per category per market, and I run every account myself.

The story

I know what your Saturday looks like because I've worked it.

District Beta is an arcade, VR, sim racing and licensed bar in Sarnia, and I've been on it since before the doors opened. I signed the lease, sourced the cabinets, wrote the party packages, trained the staff and worked the door on nights we were slammed and nights we were empty.

Then I built the systems, hired a team and stepped off the floor. I still co-own it. Every tactic I sell, I ran there first, with my own money.

I also teach digital marketing at Lambton College, which forces me to keep up with what changed this quarter instead of what worked three years ago. And I studied programming before business, so the technical work gets checked, not outsourced blind.

Why only this industry

Why I only work with entertainment venues.

A generalist agency has to learn your business on your budget. I already know what a Tuesday afternoon with four people in the building does to your head.

I've worked the floor, not just the account.

I know what a staff no-show at 4pm does to a Saturday. I know what happens to your weekday numbers when a competitor opens fifteen minutes down the road and buys every keyword you own.

Over the years I've operated or consulted on venues across North America:

  • Arcades
  • Bowling
  • Laser tag
  • Golf simulators
  • Mini putt
  • Escape rooms
  • Axe throwing

Canadian, on a Canadian calendar.

The specialists I know of in this industry are American. They price in US dollars, work to a US school calendar and don't plan around a March Break that moves.

I price in CAD and plan your year around the Ontario school calendar: March Break, PA days, exam week, first snow, summer. That's the gap this business exists to fill.

How I work

You get me on strategy. Specialists do the craft.

At most agencies the person who sells you disappears after kickoff and you get handed to a coordinator. Here you get me for as long as you're a client.

Strategy and account: me. Design, development and technical SEO: a small team of specialists who are better at those things than I am.

Same five steps every time, whether you're one room or two buildings.

  • Diagnose. The free scan. Site, Google profile, email authentication, booking flow, AI assistant answers. You see the whole report.
  • Agree the numbers. Two or three numbers that decide whether this worked. Usually party bookings, weekday visits or booked revenue.
  • Fix the foundation. Profile, listings, tracking, email authentication, mobile booking. Nothing gets advertised until the thing being advertised works.
  • Run the calendar. Campaigns built on the school year, not a generic content calendar.
  • Report on revenue. One page a month: booked revenue and the numbers we agreed on. Impressions aren't on it.
Principles

What I won't do, and what you can hold me to.

01

Prices are published, in Canadian dollars.

You should know if I'm in range before you give up twenty minutes. Everything is on the pricing page.

02

You own everything.

The domain, the WordPress site, the ad accounts and the guest list are yours. If you leave, I remove my access and that's the handover.

03

No markup on ad spend.

Ad spend is billed to your own Google and Meta accounts, paid straight to them. I report booked revenue, not clicks.

04

I'll tell you what doesn't work.

When I cite a figure, I cite the source and the date. When a tactic is being sold that doesn't work, like llms.txt files or AI visibility scores, I say so.

Exclusivity

One client per category, per market.

I won't market two venues fighting for the same birthday party. If I work with a bowling centre in your town, I won't take the one thirty minutes down the road.

Ask whether yours is open.

The free scan or a twenty minute call will tell you whether your category in your market is still available.

Free scan

Find out what's broken. Free.

I run the same diagnostic on every new venue, and I'll send you the report whether or not you ever hire me.
